I am so so so glad that this chapter has ended. She does seem severely mentally ill, but even with that, attempted murder isn't taken lightly. I think the facility and the father should also be held in some part responsible. I have a cousin who is in a residential treatment center and you bet they would get in legal trouble if they lost track of their patients. The father might also have some responsibility if he knew where his daughter was or helped her when she escaped at all.
