The married thing is what's tripping me up, unless Regina got married to someone else while she was blackmailing ML and then dies later. So she'd have to have been blackmailing him for some time and then she made a demand that crossed the line, maybe?
they are half brothers though, that hasn’t changed? just two or three chapters ago when we got a bit of the empress’ backstory (i can’t remember if empress is her official title) where she says that she raised the three princes as if all of them were her own after the first AND second consorts died. that right there tells us that both the emperor and our ML’s mothers died, and that they were different women. so they are half brothers. tbf i can’t remember if she was supposed to be married or not, but i know the half brothers things remains true

I mean it's nice but I feel like there are too many errors. In the first chapter, they described the original Regina as a married aristocrat but she's not married. They also said the current emperor and the arsene guy are half brothers but now they're not. I also think that the original book before she entered was weird, I mean the isota character starts investigating who murdered her friend then ends up falling in love with him
