Yeah, it's obvious a dead tree would attract all sort of plagues, and it's dangerous with such a small child in the house, so even if they had to keep the tree, the gardeners should have checked the inside often, and maybe they could have applied some repellent substance so bugs wouldn't make a nest there.
I realized a dead tree can eventually fall on top of someone... (there was even a case on the news about a dying tree in a park suddenly falling on a kid and sending her to the hospital, in the city where I live, a few years back...). So now that I think about that, the dead tree really needs to go, there's no way around it.
Exactly! And I understand it holds emotional value but you can always plant a similar tree or put up a memorial, just don't let it rot and be unchecked because it clearly is a hazard.
I nearly had a heart attack, how come we went from Fealta being cute as heck to being chased by those creepy (but useful) insects!!!!??? My poor babies, I swear if those gardeners lied I'm gutting them.
