Y’all slut shaming the ml ain’t it. The double standards. There was no guarantee that he would ever see her again, and for that uncertainty he doesn’t need to stay virgin. He can fuck whoever he wants. It’s literally none of y’all’s business. “If he really loved her he wouldn’t have fucked other people” what type of stupid shit is that? So if your partner happened to be in the same position as him where they fucked a lot of other people before you would you shame their sex life as well? Would you doubt their love just because they had sex before meeting you again after a LONG TIME? Disgusting. The male lead doesn’t need to devote his virginity to her just because he loves her. He was literally single. Who knows when they could have met again.

i 100% agree the only issue is when he said he should never tell her, it was probably an innocent remark but if she finds out later she’ll probably be upset but besides that there’s nothing wrong w what he did before their relationship

Well, I can say that if she ever found out, she'd be angry. So fucken angry. Like, "you were my first, how come you didn't save yourself for your future spouse." And, it will always be in the back of their mind. They will act like they're fine with it, but just know, they're really not. And when argument happens, that topic will be brought up at some point. And more anger ensues.

As someone who grew up where it's ok for men to sleep around while women can't, his background does irk me a bit, cause I dislike the unfair treatment. I'm not saying, she should fuck around too. I'm just saying, they both should've been each other's first. Save yourself for your marriage partner.

Also, he trained hard to protect her, so the "he might never see her again" is not entirely true. He planned to return to her.
