So if can’t figure it out, “that person” is the empress because the prince and her were talking about how he had to win over adrianna’s family before her (adrianna) brother came back and it started a big argument. Then in another chapter, the empress talked about getting rid of the “root of the problem” and the maid also came from the palace.
