ur one of the most rational people here lol
I agree with you saying that Kouki is not at fault for not returning Aoi's
(He didn't even know) but I would not blame Aoi so much. He had to cope with all his messed feelings since he was a teenager and he struggled while living with his family. You can also guess that he didnt have a good relationship with his mother from the beginning (when Ali goes away from home and talks with the other man) and that he didn't have anyone close to talk with... It's pretty sad for both from what i see, but I think that Aoi has it worse
I have also read someone said that this is a fictional story which is very true but more than anything the family dynamics are still there.
If your brother or sibling confessed that they loved you, would you open up to them and say it’s okay or would you be grossed out because that’s incest and that is illegal you don’t have to realistic at all to understand family dynamics just admit you don’t like aoi because his a dick and let that be the end of it.

This person is anything but rational, completely ruled by their emotions after reading the manga, if they were rational they would understand family dynamics and unstand that telling a sibling you love them in the romantic way is just plain gross. To be honest I read aoi’s story first but he is a complete dick in this manga and it annoyed the hell out me, but I at least rationalised it.

Lol. I love how people are attacking Kouki JUST because his brother has unrequited love for him.
It's toxic how many people perceive unrequited love and their bias to the people who have them is ridiculous. To the point that the hate to the other person has no sense or logic to it.
Aoi extorted money from his mother. Satomi tried to help him, he treats him with anger. He doesn't try to talk to Kouki properly but instead meet him with anger/sarcasm. NOBODY deserves to be treated like that just because you have an unrequited love. Nobody deserves to take your shit because you can't handle your feelings like an adult. Yes, eventhough he didn't want to extort his mother but he wanted to see Kouki, he STILL did it, he should have done it in some other way. He could have simply asked his mother for money, his mother obviously knew he was lying.
Sorry, if I see my brother conning my mother in such a way, I'd hit him with a slap and a goodbye, I'd be disgusted that he's using my mother in such a way.
And people would say 'well Kouki should have tried to understand his brother more.' I'm sorry Kouki is not a mind reader. If his brother didn't try to con his mother I'm sure Kouki would have been more worried for him but to expect Kouki to know as though any one of you knows all the problems your loved one has at one time is ridiculous.
