I was expecting yona to be the god in question before finishing the last few pages and seeing the god hanging up above. As other theories stated she's probably the saintess character.
I do wonder if she has more significance since the saintess is usually the original novels mc type role. And as "cliche novels" go they wouldn't add a powerful female character in a reverse harem unless it is a rival (by cliche novel I'm talking about "the men who love her" the novel within the story). Maybe Yona is the original mc that was scrapped by the author? Yona left the temple and went against her intended plot and Yuri has been following it this whole time until this timeline w Melissa.
We do know that Yona is loved by the goddess in a way that Yuri isn't but Yona is the one who chose to leave the temple and take the side role of a maid instead by her own free will it seems. Curious to see just how the god loves her. My guess is that the god let's Yona do whatever she wants but keeps Yuri tied to the plot and Melissas involvement could've been unforeseen. This theory makes Yuri Yonas replacement which creates a unique dynamic between them.
