Gosh, READ THE TAG

LinaLauLiu July 13, 2021 9:19 pm

There's literally "rape" tag there, jeez.
Don't read it if you can't handle that kind of stuff!

"Why they just brush it off about the rape?"
Well, maybe because Naoto knows they both were frustated and Taichi lost control for that ONE MOMENT?
He apologize later and Naoto forgive him.

I know a friend who slap someone ONCE when they had a huge argument.
I know very well that my friend wasn't that kind of person.
He apologized later and he never ever raise his hands again after that.

You don't have to be agree with that.
But just know that people have different way of "tolerating" things.
Especially if it's ONE TIME INCIDENT and THEY IMMEDIATELY REGRET AND APOLOGIZE.

THIS. Couldn't have said it any better. It's just a fucking story, get over it. If you can't handle it, then stop reading it....

    ryeorin July 14, 2021 3:11 pm

It's not that we can't handle rape stuffs, we just hope to see a bit more of remorse coming from the seme. Well I dunno abt others, but that's at least what I feel.
As someone who's so into lovey dovey sweet things that it could give me rotten teeth and diabetes, I wish they would've talk about it a bit more...?
You know, like in the webtoon 'unintentional love story' & 'A painter behind the curtain'... Oh and also 'Hit on by a kinky guy'
So yep, wish this one could also be more like that too, I'm so into seme that reflects on what they've done. (▰˘◡˘▰)

Literally apologized and regretted it right after he realized what he did. There were a lot of time-skips during this manga, and they got over it already because they move-on faster, so ofc you didn't see those scenes. No need to dwell on it.

It's been so long since I've read this manga, so I re-read it again last night. And I just noticed that they've also been throwing punches whenever they fight over trivial matters even since back in highschool.
So yeah, I realized this is not the typical cliché manga that is milked untill 50+ chapters just over remorse on past mistakes, or where the uke is a weakling that would be traumatized over getting slapped or raped.
This manga is more to coming out story between the couples to their families and friends, and embracing the fact that not everyone can accept their relationship.

Sorry, I know we're talking about fiction but did you just say people are "weaklings" if they're traumatized by being raped? What the fuck, dude.

You're being sarcastic about the uke being a weakling part right? Please tell me you're being sarcastic.

Yo dude, people who get traumatised over rape or physical abuse aren’t “weaklings”, they’re human. Not sure if you meant to sound like a terrible person or misspoke, but that was a terrible take.

    No, I'm not being sarcastic.
How should I say this... I actually meant to say that typical yaoi manga usually portrays uke as weakling. But I'm not good with words, English is not my first language.
I realize I've offended many people because of my wrong choice of words. I'm sorry (・_・||)

So I dunno what is the right word to use for it. I should've used soft hearted, maybe? Or sensitive? I dunno..
As someone who's been through physical abuse, it's not my intention to make fun of such matters. I just think that it would be nice if the seme would talk more of what he did wrong.
I'm sorry that I actually offended you, it's my bad.

100% AGREE. What are they doing complaining about it when they could have just not read it. They were warned. Besides, they didn't brush it off too. Naoto is not some pushover who would settle to someone who can't say sorry. Taichi regretted and apologized. Some even saying Nishina is way better when he literally, intentionally blackmailed Naoto. He's not any better.

All good! Some point genuinely believe that you are weak if you get abused, which is why people got mad. Have a good day :)
