I’m not justifying why jace constantly provokes the duke im pointing out the fact that people constantly blame ukes in stories and dismiss the fact that the seme also shows toxic behavior
That’s why when people were shitting on jace for being “dumb,” or “dense,” abt the situation I was like ??? Because duke never flat out defined their relationship and just asked “are you mine,”. Of course Jace would have that impression of a physical relationship if their previous interactions were always reduced to non consensual sex or verbal abuse
