He is sad, but I don't see him regretting it. I mean, he might regret it, but I don't see it in these pages, maybe next chapter, I don't know.
I feel like he will I mean sad ofc every time you lose someone that’s dead to you it is horrible. But the way he started praying to god which he would never do if not for him made me think it was more than just sadness, you know?
He has already changed, they talked about it during the chapter. And I think it has something to do wih the conversation he had with his boss on the previous chapter, when the boss said "You will eventually end up..."
We all knew this would happen. The demon gramps was too stubborn and didn’t want to turn him into a demon and now he has regrets. Of fucking course. It kinda rubs me the wrong way when he was so at peace with him dying before and denied his feelings for so long to only in the end regret it. I guess what they say is true, you only realize what is important is when you lose it. It’s just flabbergasting that the guy gave up because he wanted the demon gramps to keep coming and to love him back, especially since he knew he would never be taken seriously if he said he just wanted to spend the rest of eternity with him. Fucking sad
