he probably thought he didn’t have to teach them not to get arrogant, and if he did, he never enforced it. the two sons that are fucked up went to most of the social events where they were spoiled. yet grandfather never seem to fix their behavior even once. guess he thought they were old enough to learn by themselves, but we all known parenting doesn’t fucking end when the child is an adult. if you see your kid going out of line, you help them get back on track because you support them. this grandfather was totally useless until our mc came along
Well, to be fair in the previous life he faded into the background and died young. The grandfather never pushed them to do more than what they decided of themselves. Sometimes you can give your kids every opportunity but they refuse to be more than they have been.
