I get this vibe that he was just fascinated by her beuaty maybe. I get the feeling that since he likes arts and stuff, he was intrigued by her beauty bc from what ive remembered, he was mistreated by his father so he didn't know how to put things into words so maybe that's he married her. That's why for 10 years, they didn't had any children
