I'm too dumb to understand this (〜￣△￣)〜

I think, It's a story of two brothers who were attached physically at birth. Their whole life they were looked at with pity and their mother wanted them to look normal so she agreed to all different kinds of treatments for them. They were scheduled for surgery but only the older brother was going to make it. They basically decided that if one dies it's almost like saying both will die because one cannot live without the other. Since that's the case, they ended up just dying together.

The suicided at the end if what the other person said isn't clear enough.
