I agree. This couple should have honestly broken up. The physical fighting and rape is what crossed the line for me of having any hope for their relationship mend. It annoys me so much that after the "event" happened. The uke apologizes and the seme says "good'. I just lost it from there. Of course I finished it. But it left nothing but a bitter taste to my mouth. That scene ruined any redemption and likability for that seme.
Honestly rereading this I found that their relationship is pretty one-sided with the uke being the one who is almost always the one trying to mend their broken relationship.

Honestly, I am a huge fan of this author's works but this was the first manga where I honestly felt the couple would really be better off breaking up for good and end up with their secondary love interests. Like I followed this manga from day one years back but this couple is honestly toxic. Like mc is flawed but at least he is true to himself but ml is a closet case who just gets a little better yet not really as they still have these problems that just get swept under the rug and never really explored. Even if you love someone it's not an excuse to keep dissrespecting and hurting them.
