That new chapter hit hard fr. I’ve always enjoyed his presence in the story and seeing how much he’s growing as a character is interesting yet it hurts. It shows how he’s slowly getting closer to soorim just like how hooni did, even if they’re both complete opposites I still find similarities between the two. Hooni struggling with suicide but slowly able to open up to soorim and glasses boy (I apologize it’s been awhile since we’ve seen him and I’m not good with names) while sanya grows closer and honestly happier around soorim even I feel this chapter seemed to show how scared he is to give up or fall behind. Being praised for being smarter or learn quicker while you’re a child def messes up how you perceive things and this goes to show how much mental stress sanya is going through trying to achieve his dream while having to shoulder being alone and supporting himself and his brother.

I’m tired of people saying this arc is boring too. If you do not like sanya as a character you are not forced to keep reading weekly especially on an illegal site. Either shut up and enjoy the story or drop it for awhile. Every character is deserving of a backstory and arc especially if it’s a secondary character who appears to be relevant to the main plot. Yes this arc is a tad slow but I can say there were certain arcs that involved hooni which I found boring and uneventful. If you say it’s an interruption to the main plot, wait until it reverts back to hooni instead of complaining, go reread the story with j u s t hooni and his story. Don’t bother to read the new chapters just to complain about a single character.
