wtf I didn't see the tragedy tag until after I finished this. I usually read comments before starting but this time I didn't omg I wasn't prepared for that amount of heartbreak. He waited his entire life for him... I ... I don't know what to say. I'm guessing his lover was killed though early on since back then it was a heavy crime to be related closely with Catholicism... also the fact that the first chapter showed beheaded heads hanging about also proves my suspicion of his death. This was just damn sad. I was holding onto hope.. even on the last chapter when he was an old man that his partner would come back but nope :(
