I honestly like how everything is going, i like it slow and it’s funny, so i’m of the same opinion as you.
I think the other reader are complaining just to complain, cause they are not dropping this manga. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I like the friend/rival dynamic better than the loving simp dynamic. '^'
Let the time do its thing. The evolution of the relationship is more interesting than the end result.
I like that they are friend/rivals first. This is the current dynamic despite the fact that we, as the readers, know that he has feelings for Nunnaly. But I think he knows she's not ready for that, and thus not making any advances.
Perhaps people judges him too early in their current state of relationship (which is mostly rivalry) based on the ideal romance ml they hope for the fl. But the thing is, they are not there yet, so there's no use hating on him now, when the romantic relationship haven't even started yet esp on nunally part.
