I feel so sad for hinase. I feel that in a way they were pressured by both friends to start developing a gender, when they really just want to remain sexless. I honestly think hinase would be happy remaining genderless even if it meant they would die. I’m low key mad at the friends for always pushing hinase to pick a gender while neither are strong enough to keep liking hinase if they were the same gender.
