Oh this really sounds like a smart move but for example here it's against the law to actually record a conversation without the other persons consent. So if for example you would record it and want to use it as evidence it can happen that they're going to sue you for doing that..

Well it's in Germany like this but I'm not sure about other countries. That's why I was actually wondering how someone can get out of such a situation if you're blackmailed this way
