Late reply: just finished the anime and catching up with the manga
the dislikes are coming with our opinions but..
At some point I do agree as well. While watching the anime, I already felt a dislike towards her. I feel like there's this forced / unnecessary romance that is going on everytime the lady (and ryou) is on the panel specially the "teasing hug scene" at S1EP12. It felt force and cringey (specially with the father getting angry trope).
Again, I do not HATE her, I just dislike the (unnecessary) romance behavior that she is showing. Even without the romance with MC, I think she would definitely be a great character as a supportive friend, someone the MC can learn to (since she's a descendant of a transmigrator), as well as a trusted friend/family. Having said that, the plot is great, and i like it.
I just wanted a chill and relaxing isekai anime with no romance, no harem, just pure adventure / action like campfire cooking in another world or parallel world pharmacy.

I came to the comment section after the girl was introduced in the anime and the obvious zoom on mc blushing… upon first meeting… i can sense the romance from the get go lmao
cause like you i want no harem no romance but now i’m doubtful if i should continue watching the anime or nah i also came searching for similar anime after finished watching campfire cooking and parallel world pharmacy. do you have any recs?

Unfortunately, i don't have anything to recommend anime/manga similar to campfire cooking or isekai pharmacy. to be honest they are two of the unique plots i have read (•‿•)
