This is just anther Shoujo cliched romance. The wish fulfilment aspect of romance remains where your partner (always man) should be kind enough to help you grow. Only difference is girl has slept round the block and has sad back ground. I love slut who is ok with being slut because she enjoys sex and is with boy who have same track record. This way everything is leveled. Poor male lead is like "I won lottery with her because I am wimp" and stays wimp and treats her like some fragile glass.
