I think the emperor just looks young, or is like young (assuming he was not of age to be king yet that’s why he needs more time to save her)
The woman looked liked ML’s mom, hair, eyes, and all. Maybe. You know, sometimes 15 looks like 20 these days. I guess? Their age were not really stated.
I think the king is being petty and cursed the kin of Ladgel because of his failed romance with the woman. So he didn’t want Ludwig to be happy because he was still the son of the “monster” that the woman he loved married.
Okay I was wondering about the age of the emperor. Your theory is probably correct. If that is the case, though the pervious duke was wrong(I believe) to have relations with her when she was going out(?) with the emperor, the emperor should not blame the ml.
When I was reading the chapter, I wanted to know the exact age, too. It’s just too petty to get revenge on the son (wanting him to be miserable) just because the previous duke married the woman he loves. It was even said that it was tradition that the duke has arranged marriage. Or ,the emperor has something bigger in mind that’s why he’s so eager to do what he did
