Dyk that the baby cosette is actually dead when she was just a baby but her mother (the duke's first wife) made an agreement with the devil to revive her dead baby but instead of reviving the baby the devil himself go to cosette's body and since the fl's family have powers the devil use it to destroy the world. And that's the cause why the duke turned back the time bevause he wants to save his ass.
