Well damn… I had completely forgotten she was posed to be the “villain” and you’re right it cuz from the start her lifestyle is quite on the contrary from what you would expect from a villainessΣ( ￣□￣||)
that’s why she was a “villainess” she craves for someone to genuinely love her and not just use her like her father wants to. it’s heartbreaking really
No, apparently she was considered a side character who died early on when the novel started.
It’s the “antagonist” that died in the beginning of the novel ‘ not side character .
I guess it will looks like she’s the 1st one to be defeated in the novel to spark the love between the male and female lead.

She doesn’t have money except for what her father gives her as an allowance (which is i think not much- only for her hobby).
She doesn’t have side background bitches beside her.
Other guys (side characters) doesn’t flirt or praise her since villain/villainess in novel supposed to have an outstanding body and face, but w/ bad personality (be it girl or boy).
Her father doesn't give a shit about her, wanting her to marry an old man.

What’s the point of heroine making the villainess suffer at the end if even “Before” the heroine comes she’s already suffering..
It looks like the heroine is the bad one.
The novel in the past will look like the villainess threaten cedric bc everyone including her father look down on her. and only by clinging to cedric will she experienced being proud and look up too by others . Although in a bad way. And here comes the heroine ruined everything in a snap cause cedric fell inlove then villainess die.
What is it really the villainess lost at the ending? her fame? family? riches? love? Lol she cant lose that.
