I haven't read the latest chapters as I am too scared and want to wait till we get PAST the suspenseful part.(￣∇￣") (Yeah I am a bit of coward when it comes angst)
But.....based on the comments it seems Akihito got amnesia and someone brainwashed him to make him think Asami is his enemy.(〜￣△￣)〜 ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
To summarise, they were involved in an incident where a building collapsed around them and it must’ve injured Akihito’s head so it caused memory loss. The bad guys saw him and took advantage of it and managed to convince him Asami is his enemy.
