Haha, I just randomly noticed this old comment. So sorry if this is way too late a reaction.
But you know, this series was never on hiatus. It has been finished with 16 volumes more than a decade ago.
The problem was that it was first published on paper and only later digitalised. So in 2012-14-ish only hand scanned chapters were circulating, not of all volumes, and in inconsistent quality. With the lack of raws the translation didn't continue.
Oh, this brings back memories. I was part of the group who circulated the raws. Unfortunately a lot of people said they could help translating but no one eventually did.
Nowadays, you can pay for the raws on kakao. However I am assuming no one is going to pick it up for translation.
with long hiatused mangas/manhwas being updated right now, I'm crossing my fingers on this one
