The fact that this couple is like someone i know in real life already makes it worse. I feel like Nekota Yunezou tries to represent realistic experimental couples rather than established ones. Its interesting, because in each case there is one character who is out and gay and says stuff which makes me think the mangaka KNOWS they are writing about stereotypes. Look at Eleketel Delusion and Hidoku Shinaide. The mangaka clearly moves around gay bars in Tokyo and picks up convos of people who are coming out or are still in the closet. Is it harmful? Hell yes it is. Its detestable. But then we know the world is full of idiots like that.
