Ok so I read this hella years ago and didn’t dare to come back to it because of the emotional toll it took on me. But after coming back today to reread the last few chapters again I still hate the ending and wished there was some way Bum could’ve gotten a happy ending. But maybe he was just too damaged and too far gone to live a normal life after all that. But it would’ve been nice to see.
