I feel like the author did a good thing by introducing Nao to the story for the simple fact that Ritsu seemed like he was never going to talk about his past. (without some huge push that is) I just hope it doesn't drag on too long. I think It's great that Takano got to hear just how much Ritsu suffered due to his actions. I usually don't like characters that that form love triangles, but It's a good way to show Takano that he has some serious competition. Maybe this may open him up to reflect and fix his own personality problems.
