what do you guys think about how poly relationships are handled in manga?

i really don't like it tbh i was just reading one and it made my day very worst.

I think they're handled poorly lol

They never communicate and it makes me sad. There's also the fact that most of the time it's not even a healthy poly relationship because 2 of them are usually rivaling against each other for the 3rd one so it's not even technically a poly relationship, it's usually just a shitty love triangle.

I was always slightly prejudiced against poly relationships bc of media portrayals and the manga I read. Recently a friend came out to me as poly and I really wanted to get over my weird prejudice and actually learned about it. Needless to say poly relationships in media are a bitchass crumble fest of what a real poly relationship is. Or at least normal ones.

Him, Him, and Him was very well done.
Everything is Agreed is not too bad as far as portrayal goes, but I think the author doesn't know where to go with the storyline

it was pretty good until the last chapter imo the other 2 guys feel more like sex friends than romantic partners
