I have to admit, the entire time even though I knew what she was trying to do I was still like, “Girl...did you really think they’ll change that easily? They’ve been exposed to that shit since they were young no matter how much of a ‘bright light’ you are you can’t light up an entire ballroom in one go. Theres always gonna be spots that’ll remain dark.”
I mean I know where she’s coming from but it was pretty naive of her to believe them just like that despite knowing their actual personalities form the novel, still I understand why she’d believe them, they did put up a great facade but still I can’t help but become frustrated
