Yeah no I can’t stand her I have no sympathy for her
I also think there's something fishy going on between her and this blond dude that always around her. Probably they were engaged or something before she won the competition and now she's salty because the emperor ignored her ass and the guy that could have actually been a potential husband was rejected because she (or her parents) we're after the position of the empress. And now she even has the audacity to deny her OWN son to marry someone he likes, even though she knows best what it feels like to being in a relationship with no feelings whatsoever.
I don’t think they were engaged but I would say they have history. I don’t know how close they were in the past but I would think that they were either close friends or had an intimate relationship at one point. She seems to value his opinion and is concerned about how he views her and her decisions.
Imma be honest…. I really don’t like the Empress.
Like I wanna feel bad cause of what she experienced but at the same time… when she puts her anger towards people who don’t deserve it(cough cough the whole Bam family) it pisses me off.
I also don’t think her traumas with love shouldn’t be something that she should expect her son to follow. She’s a mother and empress and she’s over here throwing a tantrum over a child who has talent. I swear they’ll make her realize her stupidity and a personality growth towards the end of the story,
