Oh I thought something similar too! Like she felt pressured to show affection for her kids when she didn't yet and it wore her out or something. Definitely curious on how it got the way it was.

Ngl at first I thought she just had like postpartum depression and I thought it wasn’t talked about much cuz it’s like back in the day (even though it doesn’t rlly excuse her future selfs behavior of neglecting her family and cheating) but now from the newer chapters info and comments idk anymore…
