its kind of bittersweet, though hinata wont remember any of her past life memories or the memories shes made with sadao, shes introduced him to so many people in her life that theyre now connected to him and sadao is kind of woven into her life. im really sad though that sadao never thought it was his grandma until the end. i wish there was scenes of them together post-realisation that a small child is his grandmother

    I think it's best this way. After all, wouldn't it be more painful for Sadao-kun to lose his grandmother twice? In this way he got to relive his best memories with his grandma, be reminded of her traits, and really cement his love for her and her teaching even past the grave. When someone you love dies, they say to remember them for all the good things they shared with you, rather than wallow in the sadness that they're gone.
