I know (=・ω・=) it rely pulls in your heartstrings.
That one's especially interesting because it's set 100 years ago! Where the uke says, "We can't be lovers," It just tears at my heartstrings because they really both feel that way, due to the society they were raised in. But they still understand each other on a fairly deep, unspoken level, while also both acknowledging that the tattoo and the forced sex are *not* okay, but also the only things they feel they can do.
I am sort of happy it's just a one-shot, though. I've got a fairly active imagination, and all of the emotion in there I'm probably going to mentally fanfic the hell out of. I really only want more of cute or smutty things, while I like having options to suit my mood for the bittersweet.
I personally love d last story. Wish sensei could have make it longer. Such potential. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
