Novel spoilers:
Some of the memorable scenes from novel that wasn't shown in the manhua that I really liked was after yanyan found out about his birth origin, he needed time to think if he should recognize the family. As shown in the manhua, he was scared that he won't fit in. He was traumatized and thought that he is unloved. Before the big competition start, both of them had their bday(?) And coincidentally they have a short program where the artists can invite their parents to come.
Fast forward, the rich parents came and met yanyan blah blah blah and yanyan ask about will you abandon the child you care for if you realize theyre not your biological child? (Irrc) and the rich parents was like ; it would be hard for them bc even if they didn't give birth to the child they still cared for that child like their own.
That's when yanyan realize he might not able to go back to his real family after all. Bc he can't coexist with nanyi and. He don't want his parents to choose (or if ttheyy have to choose he's scared that they will choose nanyi instead)
Thenn the fake parents dropped by, brought some food for yanyan... BOI YANYAN WAS SO HAPPY AND THOUGHT at least his fake parents came and brought food for his bday !! (He originally thought the fake parents won't even bother to come) then he realizes after wards that the food he received was scraps from leftover after they (fake parents) gave the good food to nanyi first for nanyi bday. And yanyan got the broken leftovers.
God, that time, lord gave me strength or I would figure out a way to transmigrate into this book and murder these fake ass bitches
