an original story in original language
a raw is the original work of the author, does that make sense?
e.g// when someone says “can you please give me the raws??” someone would send them a link, that link would be the untranslated version of the work that is up-to-date with the authors original work, thus the name “raw” since no edits have been changed. when people ask for raws, its because raws are more ahead then maybe the translators work so they would ask it to find out what happens next and maybe translate it for themselves to understand. sometimes you dont need raws, since the translators work is already caught up to the authors work already. hope this made sense
