ML is a regressor. He accidently touched something in the labs when drinking with some buddies that lead to the apocalypse. The scars on his neck is from one of the timelines where he slit his own throat after MC dies sacrificing himself to save ML. MC is a cure for the infection that they can male a vaccine out of.
Ml also hated MC first few times because he was the trigger that would cause him to regress, but would still fall in love with him every time. ML also always believed MC hated him but thinks MC is acting differently in this timeline Which causes him to become very scared of losing this MC since he seems to be the only one that cares for him. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
