Depends on the girl, in my university I see girls who are on point with their hair, makeup and clothes. And then there are girls who look like they just got up from bed and kept walking. Personally, I don't put a lot of thought into what I wear, just a nice, clean shirt and pants, I make sure my hair looks nice, and I keep walking.
No, you're definitely not the only one! I studied biology, and some classes were together with students from pharmaceutical sciences and from movement sciences and sport. Well, to put it bluntly, you could tell who was from which department. Mov. science people were mostly really sporty people, pharma people (90% female) used university more like a catwalk, and we biologists were the nerds, I guess. And in the few politics/economics classes I took, you could see students in business attire.
So, I guess the mangas are not totally wrong, but it really depends on the person (or maybe the department?). I usually wore jeans and t-shirt, almost never put on any makeup, still my favorite way to dress.
ok now am i the only one that wear normal even beyond normal and casual clothes when i go to the university!!!i mean every time in manga they sho univ girls very classy with hair like OMG and cute and wear very VERY formal kawaii or fashionable clothes and i mean like EVERYTIME ALWAYS so are girls in YOUR univirsity like that!!!!am i the only one that is very nerdy more that normal clothes here!!
