Yeah, I don’t think he even realizes that he was super interested in the beginning. I wouldn’t say love at first sight, but definitely stare struck. But because he kind of sucks so much, JK didn’t even realize it himself. And probably won’t for a while. Like why would he even call Dan when he already had a for sure f*ck buddy?

Hear me out… I reread all of Jinx recently and I feel like ML has been into Dan since he accidentally touched his penis in chapter one, lmao. There are a lot of lingering stares and glances from ML towards Dan. And a lot of the things he’s done have been reactionary. While I am not saying that ML has good intentions at all or reacted the right way, I am saying that he was at least interested from the beginning and a lot of the things he had done up to this point have been to appease Dan in some way.
He’s started to at least be a little better with Dan, with the kissing and the nipple play, and you can tell he likes it when Dan also gets off, I mean I could be totally projecting but I feel like ML just sucks at showing interest and has hella trauma. It gives me Painter of the night vibes honestly.
