I'm so sorry i don't mean to unvalidating your feeling, just my opinion. I always found old mangas definetly have good character development. I can lists of them all if you want to try reading it^^

Actually, I can't say I totally don't agree you. Some old mangas really had amazed me in terms of characters, plot or story and I especially accept that today's mass production mangas or webtoons can be too shallow(〜￣△￣)〜 I really wanna see your list, I never say no to such a good offerヾ(☆▽☆)

Reallll, couldn't agree more. I feel more and more tired of reading BL as the years go by, especially for manhwa, any of them more shallow than manga.
