It felt like a whole mess of presumptions and misunderstandings. He didn't even properly listen to his beloved and just went to assault and then murder him afterwards... then blamed someone else. I feel like their tragedy might've been avoided if only he was willing to listen to the other person and trust him at least a teeny little bit... my only explanation in my head is that he's got a couple of screws loose already.
