So if my understanding is correct. This rando who’s a fan of the work of “Sheldon” idk if that is also a pen-name or a real one; is visually looking, smelling, “acting” like his manhwa character. A story ultimately written as a result of his loneliness and lack of tlc by people he’d assume would be there for him during his hardest times. While he’s being forced to reenact his story, he is living the life he ultimately(and masochistically) always wanted… while maybe not as intense or painful, still. So while he’s trying to maintain his sense of reality of what the human psyche expects (using his panels to contact the outside world, on the rare occasion he’s alone trying to escape) he is snuggling up to this sadistic teddy bear and covering himself up in this blanket of unrealized truth. He doesn’t really want to escape at least not in the emotional sense. He’d rather use their real names and real obsession instead of being forced into a constant state of RP where he is being forced to live how he’d like and still be uncertain if his captor loves him or his creation. The sharing leashes panel made me assume this. Because while ML physically has him tethered MC definitely holds the emotional leash. He has the ability to open the ML’s heart to the”real” him using his webtoon and hopefully the author uses that to their advantage when continuing this series.
