And since we’re already on the topic i think Yoo Ra is becoming somewhat obsessive over Soo Ae. We learn that she has an inferiority complex but i dont think thats the case anymore, seeing as how she ended that after the whole cheating with her bf thing. And the way shetried to steal Eunhyuk and DoHwa as well(not so much Dohwa bc he didn’t care for her and she could tell from their convos) without any regard to how it would affect SooAe. At this point i think its just jealousy and playing on those tropes where the cousin likes everything the MC likes so they take it from them, but the Mc doesn’t care bc they SHARE, but once they have it they no longer want it bc MC is no longer interested in it either. Its giving insecure. There could very well be a good explanation for her behavior, such as trauma from her mother but we don’t have enough info and details to assume that yet. And the way Ra-Im doesn’t want SooAe to know about all her scheming and “cares” for her when she actually takes it a bit too far is very contradicting to her actions and feelings. We see little moments where she seems to legitimately want to help her out, but those actions are immediately overshadowed by the things she does behind her back. I don’t necessarily hate her character, and it was clear that she felt neglected by SooAes parents judging by how she felt after seeing them care for her and overlook her. However those moments could have easily been changed had she spoken up or tried to understand the situation. And its not all her fault either bc SooAes parents don’t seem to think their actions affect her as deeply as they do, they really think they’re being good parents but they fail to recognize where they fall short. Needless to say, i can see her getting a redemption arc if she were to come to terms with her behavior, but there’s the equal possibility she just becomes worse.(which i rly hope wont be the case bc SooAe really does seem to care for her and is the only person there for her at all in the story)

Pt.3 This is legitimately stressing me out. Bc the story creates this narrative that her mother is dead, but then why is she in a picture with Eunhyuks fathers possesions??!?!? And the focus was primarily on the woman his father had an affair with(WHO IS ALSO IN THE PICTURE BEHIND HER), she just appears without explanation in that picture. Not to mention the resemblance between her and the music teacher (the woman he’s having an affair with)is uncanny. I had a passing thought that perhaps she was Eunhyuks half sibling and they just pretended not to know each other?? But that wouldn’t make sense bc there is no clarification from either of them when they start trying to overtsep the other’s boundaries.
Pt.4_ But wouldn’t it make sense if her mother had just abandoned her for his father??? Judging by the timeline we were given and how early on his father seemed to have an affair, he was still a child. She could have very well been fed a lie and convinced she died, so she could leave her and be with a man, without having her daughter tie her down. There’s also the vague event of Eunhyuk being beaten in front of his fathers lover, but theres no further elaboration. And the way the music teacher approaches him with a hostile undertone is wierd. Even for an affair, it seems a bit much to treat the child of your current “partner” with that much disdain when you literally WITNESSED him get sidesmacked by your money bag(but then again this is a webtoon) there’s something else going on with his fathers lover and Ra-Im and i can’t figure out what it is. Becuase WHY would you actively go out of your own way to mess with your lover’s child when their parent is literally supporting you financially, it just wouldn’t make sense unless his father also hated him. But that for sure isnt the case because he doesn’t look a single bit like his mother (which is pointed out fairly often within a single chapter) For the record they both showcase similar behaviors (ex; being the ones to cheat with and actively pursuing people who are already taken)

I see your initial comment, part 3 and part 4. Where you posted: Part 2, I see nothing. I agree with everything you said. It’s confusing. Author is dropping little things throughout the story so I’m sure the pieces will fall into place at some point. At least I hope so. I’d be really irked if it, by the ending, these plot holes weren’t filled.
