I’m not sure either, but I think Kai is seeing his worst nightmare happening. I don’t think what he’s seeing is real. It’s his worst fears coming to life. I’m looking forward to the next chapter.
It was the transition that confused me, like Ares left and that evil bastard immediately started acting out. It felt weird, he didn't even pretend or take his time.
