I get that. I've had a seriously traumatic childhood and young adult life. My life currently is still very stressful with health issues and insomnia and nightmares, but I still look like I'm in my 20s. And so does everyone my age group around me.
I'm just saying that it's a stereotype of drawing those lines in mangas and has been for decades. Once they hit 30, they age them to look 50. It's just not accurate anymore. The most you get is gray hair here and there. I know people age differently, but it's just a pet peeve of mine to see those heavy lines as if their skin is sagging already. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
The story was really good. I just have one pet peeve: what 30-something has lined like that on their face from wrinkles? None that I know. I'm 32 and I still look like I'm in my early 20s (I know because I get told so and still get carded wherever I go). Why do mangakas insist on anyone in their 30s looking like they're 50+? Its so weird! Anyway, the story was good and I'm glad for the happy ending. And the parallel!
