AGHH I just finished watching it and omfg I have replayed a whole bunch of scenes like 100 times. I love it so much bc not only does it show male couple as love interest (yes, it will happen let us have faith it is too much to end up in nothing...r-right?) but it also has those amazing skating scenes that, although sometimes the animation gets kinda jiffy, it's so amazinggggg ahhh. WE NEED MORE ANIME LIKE THISSSS but that don't frigging tease us so much and just establish the damn relationship alreadyyyy!!

as the animation jiffy, its did irk me juuusssst a little bit. Juuuuust a little bit because we all know creating an animation definitely not easy so I can past for that. What irks me are the fact that this still labeled as ONLY sport genre, therefore we cannot ask for more and the fact Yuri highlighted NOT ROMANTIC LOVE during the interview when he tried to explain his love toward Viktor gets me soooo frustrated like how on earth it is not, I MEAN LOOK AT THAT JUST LOOOKKK I CAN'T I CAN'T IM GONNA SMASH MY FACE ON MY PILLOW ALL OVER AGAIN THIS IS HURTING MY HOPE AND KOKORO

There's no ACCIDENTALLY if its between Viktor and Yuri, I mean its Viktor. There's no ACCIDENTALLY in his dictionary. He do it because he wanted to. As in Yuri...... well he's getting naughty nowadays, I still shook from his Eros short program ep 6

Ahh yeah I feel the same way!! Making the animation for the skating must be soo difficult I am amazed nonetheless by how well they made it despite the few flaws (but every anime has flaws so I can overlook that; also i have seen the skating scenes like 202239 times *coughs*)

And also I'm actually ok with the genre not being shounen-ai or yaoi because it is a sports anime and their main focus is the sports, but in a way it can be considered a "normal" anime where there is a romantic development (which is always a straight couple) and they don't label the anime as romance so it's something different when it comes to a BL and I actually like that...I hope you understand what I'm trying to say OTL

And tbh it is very obvious at this point that there is something going on between those two and the writers CAN'T just leave us at that and say "Oh nah, it was nothing of the romantic sort it was just a joke" because that would literally ruin the whole anime OTL So I think they'll develop a romantic relationship throughout the anime (and my hope is that when Yuri wins the skating tournament (gran prix I think it was called) they'll end up together or something ;w;) (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Lets hope it does happen, both Yuri as the new champion for Grand Prix and Viktuuri. Umphhhand btw you explain yourself very well no worry, its good to hear more on this anime as I interested to know what's make a good anime since I've anime world world for quite some time. I just started watching anime again few months ago, and oh my the development in anime is so crazy. My anime list is still long to go oh my (⊙…⊙ )

I haven't watched anime in months because of uni (and lack of motivation), but everyone was making a fuzz about Yuri on Ice and I finally got some time to breath so I watched it and did not regret it ;w; I hope it turns into a long anime tbh, bc if it's gonna be a 12 episode anime I'm gonna cry.（/TДT)/
