I have a friend currently doing this. I got fed up and just turned off comms with that friend.
It sucks when it interferes with your friendship you have with them
I cannot be bothered by the reply of the same trash. No matter how much of a friend my friend is, I ironically love myself than let myself get stressed with their stupidity. (I sound harsh but her situation, her and the guy are annoying af.)
