No cause howd the art downgrade so bad ☠

It happens, unfortunately. I’ve seen one series where the art was really beautiful and later morphed into REALLY choppy.

The art style itself changed too.i actually liked the line thickness they used at the beginning bc it was unique for the genre but then they transitioned to the more generic art style of thin, light colored lineart. To make it worse, they continued using the old thick black lines only on random stuff, like the fur coat and sometimes on their arms, which was inconsistent and weird.
