I was confused at first too, but I think it’s because he realized Eunsung is younger than him. If you look at their character profiles, Soohyun is 30 years old born July 30, and Eunsung is 29 years old born January 12. In Korea, age is an incredibly important thing so that’s probably why it annoyed him, and if he had known back when they were in high school, Soohyun would’ve been jealous because a guy younger than him would’ve been better than him.
